Xira Doctor is a queer Filipina floral designer based in Los Angeles, creating arrangements that play with texture, color, shape, and movement. Inspired by the city’s diverse cultures, communities, and eclectic rhythm, her work reflects a deep connection to her hometown and her heritage.

She never imagined herself an artist, but curiosity had other plans. What started as tinkering (learning graphic and web design for fun on the family computer) morphed into shaping spaces with flowers, building fantasy worlds from nothing, and manipulating fruit and flora into sculptures. Drawing on a breadth of experience across industries and passions, she creates work that feels both intentional and alive.

Woman in Stems is a multidisciplinary design studio translating emotion into form, rooted in cinematic vision and style. From florals to event and set design, every project is purposeful, elevated, and infused with the playfulness and personality that keep the process as joyful as the result.
